This moment was captured in the bays of Ding Darling Natural Area on Sanibel Island, FL where the Great Blue Heron stood quietly, perhaps waiting for a fish, or perhaps just watching the clouds pass by.

Lost Feather Studio is a small independent art studio located in Madison, WI. As both an artist and a naturalist my inspiration grows from my love and respect for our natural world. Every weekend brings new delight as we find heart-shaped lichens, hear an owl call, or find tiny baby toads hiking the trail with us. Just as sunlight feeds an Oak Tree, the Oak Tree feeds my soul.
